Title: Optimizing system performance

Now that AH II is closing, those of us with less than optimum systems must try to squeeze everything out of them. Here's what I have done:

If you want to get optimum performance from your card get your drivers from here: http://www.omegacorner.com/

Omega drivers in performance mode boosted my FPS a lot. Overclocking helps too and theres a tool with those drivers that helps you to find the limits of your vid card.

If you have a VIA chipset in your MOBO, then you should get latest 4in1 drivers from here:http://www.viaarena.com/

If you want to tweak some more you should try to disable un-needed services in Windows XP, instructions here: http://www.blkviper.com/
