I know this is incredibly sad news for most of you, but such is life.

I'm gonna be taking a break from Aces High for a while. Probably a few months.

The reasons are personal. Last few weeks have been really important in my life, as I have realized how much discipline and order I need. I must re-prioritize things in my life, and put back behind me some things that while they gave me satisfaction, they were leading me nowhere in life.

I always feared the day when I would have to tone down on my partying, sleeping, slacking, drinking, and playing games. But this is the day. Its now when I choose between going on this way (to regret it some day when I am old like most of you) or really making something out of my future.

Why I am typing all this roadkill? crap, I dont know, maybe to get some advice from you old pepole, or to try to make you all cheer me for my sudden positive thinking.

So thats it. I am leaving Aces High. But I will be back later.


I'm gonna move with my father to try to forge some kind of positive relationship with him (and get my vette back), and also to spend more time with my girlfriend before our realtionship goes kaput, and with my studies and aviation, to someday pay the bills myself :P

I'm gonna try to stay around the BBS as much as I can, and to keep promoting my cancer fighting gang.

You may be onto something there ammo, but he is going to be back "in a few months" after he conquers the world.

We better wait till then, when we can see if in fact moving in with his Dad, borrowing his Vette, convincing his girlfriend to stay with him, and logging futile expensive hours in a 172 without a CFI or Commercial pilot career path planned out and followed help him.

You want so old timer advise? Give up!

No actually, tell the old man to stop buying you dumb bellybutton $38,000 cars, and take that money and enrole you in a aviation school.

 Get your CFI, Commercial rating, get hours built while starving and your toejam in one basket, hire on at American Eagle or a regional carrier, build time, starve some more, and after alot of time and hard work take one of the 1000's of F/O jobs at a major which will be open in the next 5-10 years.

THEN come back to the BBS and tell us your worth anything. By that time hopfully your girlfriend will be long gone, you'll be chasing sky hags, seeing the country, working on left seat and some heavy duty income. There ya have it.

Animal, had I known you were considering leaving, I wouldn't have let you vulch me last night.  I know getting a kill on me is the ultimate achievement in AH, and that attaining this milestone likely made your decision easier.  At any rate, you can now retire from the virtual skies, content in the knowledge that there will no longer be an asterisk next to your name in the AH anals of tardome.

it won't seem so important to prove yourself after a while.

Is this because I kicked you off your own squad channel yesterday and you started crying like you just dropped your ice cream cone? Or maybe you realized that the MA isn't big enuff for the both of us and since you, well, suck... maybe it was better that you packed up and left?

This is kinda rotten news actually... I enjoyed flyin' against ya. Mr Fish has the best advice I've seen so far as well as St Santa and Creamo so read their posts again. However, you certainly are an unholy mess so I suppose a little time off to get yer act together couldn't hurt.

Enjoy the summer and the Vette like I've enjoyed your girlfriend (I bet she hasn't mentioned anything about that eh?). Come back soon though so I can kick yer arse more.

I think what some are missing is that SeaWulfe is an A-hole and he isn't always serious.  He's just not intellectually able to express himself without resorting to "potty language".  Besides, although he didn't put it very eliquently, he wasn't lying.  I'm Analmal's squaddie, I can attest that everything SW has said about him so far is 100% correct.   :p

Nethawk, maybe you should take a quick look at your post.  I think it shows a lot less class to post a threat towards someone as in the last line of your post.

Wow...I think we are gonna need a schedule or a program or something to keep track of when the ass-kickings are taking place at the con.

Maybe we can make it into a tourney or something....kinda like a tough man competition and give a belt or something to the winner.   :)
