Title: Graphic flashes instead of hits.

I was flying along in the P-51 and let loose a few bursts at one of the farmhouses. Instead of seeing the normal "gun hit" simulation (the little explosion) sometimes a white square would appear instead.

Common bug...you may also get this on tracer,  muzzle flash, bullet trail smoke, and dust effects (when the bullets hit the ground)
