As for ammo.

"Any caliber pistol exceeding .44 magnum must be approved by the Range Master. We welcome .22 rimfire target rifles and shotguns. We do not allow slugs."

Your loss MT, It's been a hoot and a half, but do not fret, chances are that this will become a yearly event, so keep reading this BB.

The biggest disappointment was that we could not get Beet1e and Lazs together to the gun range.

P.S. Not sure whether Funked mentioned it, but our MiniCon policy is (and it'll always be) free "alll you can eat" Scotch. Too bad you are not here to enjoy it.

<> Mietla and Funked, you did a first class job setting this up, and my wife and I enjoyed ourselves imminsely in spite of me getting jyped out of my door prize. Thanks for making the effort.

My wife was talking to Tomato about five feet from Grunherz's computer as I'm looking over Grunherz's shoulder. He powers up to display his "new" wallpaper, put there by the FDBs- it was an image of a gentleman who had a proctologist who had HUGE fingers, obviously, or a bad sphinter, one of the two-

You should have seen Grunherz fumble to get that wallpaper off. Of course I'm saying "Hurry Grun before my wife sees that", and that made him panic even further. He got it deleted before my wife or Tomato noticed, but it was funny seeing him sweat.

For those who didn't attend, it was fun. We had a buffet at the airshow, made to order breakfasts at the Hotel, and the happy hour was well done too.

Thanks again Andy and Mike, I hope this becomes a yearly event.

BERSERKR and I couldn't show up until Sat. evening due to prior commitments, but we did arrive in time for the banquet, to meet many attendees, and to take advantage of the freely offered "tech support" when we couldn't quite get connected at first. Hopefully this does become an annual event, and we can make it earlier in the week next time. We would like to have been able to spend more time with everyone, though we did understand the "burn out factor" after everyone was gone to the airshow all day. Though most retired somewhat early Sat. night, BERS and I had to make up for lost time. (see "still flying.jpg" in the collection of pics I posted here (http://www.tcsn.net/aramis/Minicon/) .) I think I set up the auto timer to take that one about 3 a.m. BERS and we ended up staying up until after breakfast, then crashed at 8:30 for about 2 hrs., and headed home. We are looking forward to the next time! <<>>

Was able to meet several I had not before and visit again with several squadies (maddog, puke, Makarov9, vaderr, and TeeeRex), and some wives. :) Lazs those were nice hand guns. Did you go to a range? If you do next time let me know I would have enjoyed a few rounds. :) Ramzey pleasure to meet you. I was tellin BERS, my main vacation next year is set for spring time, so I dont have to decide between the con and takin the wifey somewhere..I can probably get time off to do both...lol. We are definitely going to try to make it there, obviously depending on work schedules, $$$, etc. As far as the Jags, BERS, myself, and JoyFul are still pretty active, along with a new guy that BERS and I work with that we have pretty much dragged in to the addiction, BIGDAWG4. What would we have to do to convince ya to come back??? Hmmm... maybe that shouldn't be left so open.. lol. Follow the Nike pitch and "Just Do It". It would be great to wing it up with you again. BERS and I were just talkin about it a couple days ago in fact. Hope to see ya up!

Also many people took initiative to solve problems and take care of things that came up during the weekend, which saved me a lot of time and stress. What a great group.
I have yet to do the financial post mortem but I think it worked out just fine, and we'll probably do something similar next year. ~~!!!!~~

I'm really glad you guys could make it and glad you had fun that night/morning. I felt kind of bad that everybody was so tired and crashed early on Saturday, but it sounds like it didn't slow you two down much. :)

Yep it was Strike Fighters. Mr. Stewart was flying the AD Skyraider, which he flew in the Korean War. The best part is that somebody made a custom skin with his squadron's markings. I think he definitely enjoyed flying it. He actually got a bit tired out flying that big mother. :)
