I would love to see these GVs, I most likely won't however.

1. We ALREADY have two German Tanks. We need a T-34/85 or Sherman Firefly so we can have some decent battles. Tiger on Tiger gets old.
2. While the Jeep might be fun, exactly what the hell are you going to do with it besides run around the countryside making a pain in the prettythang of yourself? Sorry to put it so blunt but you won't last as long as a "Fart in a Tornado" in that Jeep during an armored battle. Even a near miss will take you out not to mention what a near miss for an aircraft bomb will do. About the only thing you will be able to do is shoot down an aircraft or paratrooper and the M3 will do the same thing and the M16 even better.
Sorry, these two are definate backburner items.
Do agree with you on one thing, the Jagdpanther would be way cool, but only after we get some much need stuff FIRST.
!

I just want the Jeep for no reason really. I think it would be cool if you could put that 75mm Recoiless Cannon on it like they had in Korea. Now THAT would be a fast anti Tank Weapon. Of course you might die in one hit, but the same thing with the M8 when you go against tanks and I Love using the m8 as a Tank Killer.
-
Ok, SO Angelfire Killed off my Pics yet AGAIN!
-
Speaking about fast...can it do 60 mph like an M8? From personnal experiance it can't. I only got 50 in one.
-
Neg, It does 55 at most. But with that 75mm Cannon it would be worth it
Ok, Finally got my pics back up
-
T-34 is a must
but instead m40, jaggerphanter , willis
What about a good old one:
sherman

hehehehehe u wanna the badboy lol

Maybe some landing crafts would be nice, instead of the slow amphibious tanks we have a fast landing boat which can carry troops or tanks maybe
-
Prob with a Landing boat is the troops have to run forever and get picked off easily, kinda like real life eh?

END QUOTE
Odd, mine did 63 as clocked by a friend following me, on a flat strip of road, windscreen down and goggles on. Anything over 3, 500 rpm is bad for the engine though. It is a long stroke engine and that is bad at high rpms, it tends to "egg-shape" the cylinders, then burn oil, then make pricy noises. It is a lot quicker to speed than a M8, and damm fun to drive. Just about the only easy to own and drive on the road WWll GV.
I love the "...mainly by being stripped of luxuries..." No heater, no side windows (or doors)... Luxuries must mean the windscreen.

Troops? What troops? We're talking about something like the LCT Mk V:
Notice that it's carrying five M3 Grant tanks?
114' 2" long, 32' 8" across, displacement 286 short tons, maximum load 150 short tons, max speed 7 knots, 2.5" of armor in the wheelhouse, 2" of plastic armor in the gunshields, with 2 20mm cannon and two .50 MGs as armament.
-
oh Yeah! :aok
-
As I've stated a million times before we need just one more {possably two, the Sherman} to complete the GV line up.
Yes, The Wirbelwind:D(http://pictures.panzerworld.net/PzkpfwIV-Wirbelwind/Wirbelwind01.jpg)

Ah! Flakpanzer! great id!
-
I'd love to sink that carrier and the 5 players in tigers with it. That would be way cool.

The way I see it working is that you would spawn it and sail it to shore; when you dropped the ramp, it would become a vehicle hangar that would last for five vehicle spawns or until destroyed, whichever came first.
-
hmm, a hangar? It might be better that it just drops the vehicels and disapear, makes it alot easier for enemy I guess

Naah. Think of the hate you'd get from blowing an LCT as the first tank rolls off the ramp, before the other vehicles can get out.
More generally, you may not have five people ready to spawn vehicles off the LCT immediately; leaving it there until all five spawn lets the defenders stop the spawning.
-
just add a landing craft which can contain 1 tank, they've been used during d-day
-
T-34? Eventually
M-40? Probably never
Jeep? Why??
Jagpanther? Probably not.
A better choice for mobil arty would be the M-7 Priest. Talked to Pyro about this one a while back.
75mm recoilless rifle? Might be better to add it as a weapons package for the M-3. Imagine..."is that M-3 I see a tank killer or a troop bus" :). Of course, the jeep could be added to give the C202 drivers a gv that they could kill :D.
As the game is currently designed, the Jagpanther (or any other turretless armored vehicle) would probably be a bigger pain than it was worth. With the short traverse of the main gun, it would be totally ineffective in most of the gv battles I've seen in the arena. Imagine switching back and forth between the driver and gunner positions to try and get the gun on a target. Also, notice it doesn't have a pintle gun.....gv vulchers would love this one :D.
The T-34/76 is probably the most likely to appear. Would be nice to have the option (via perks maybe) to upgrade the 76 to the 85.

You know the brits fought in ww2 aswell!!
-
NoBaddy.. NO NO NO NO! NOT THIS THIS THIS OR THIS! NEVERRR! WAA! :p
That said, The Jeep might be fun.. i'de be sure to take it out every now and then.. add the 75mm to the M3? come on, this is as bad as substituting every plane in kadesh for a 262..
Jagdpanther.. I'de like to hope that people aren't too lazy to leave thier turret to turn a bit (if HT adds the ability to counter-rotate the tracks this won't be an issue at all)
No pintle? Doubt it needed one.. Not sure what caliber these hits are from but..

I doubt hizookas or laser .50s will even tickle the panther.. (and that's sayin something)
