Aces High Bulletin Board

I have just set up a router for my home network.
I have not tried to play Aces High through it yet but fully expect not to be able to do so first time!
The router has a built in firewall and I wondered what "tuning" I will need to do to play AH in the main arena and perhaps any others if different.
