Title: Weird sound problem

All the time I play/test AH2 on my machine the sounds come through all crackly and distorted.

Specs:
Win 2000 with SP4
SB Audigy 1 with the latest drivers
384 mb of 133 SDRAM
XFX Geforce 4 4200 Ti Turbo
DX 9.0

Hardware sound acceleration in dxdiag is set at standard (1 notch from the right.)

Will get a small sound recording tomorrow if needed.

Are you using any audio effects in the EAX control panel in the creative drivers software?

I have problems when using them in AH1 on my SBLive.  Might be a point to look at.

Nope, no effects are turned on.

had same problem....just loaded my sounds from AH 1 and it's fixed
