Isnt that the 101st airborne division??? i read a documentary about them and they were the first to capture the Eagles Nest

Rakser,

Eagle's Nest was a retreat ( tea house or something ) at a top of a mountain, given to Hitler as a birthday present.

Slightly down the slope there used to be Hitler's house, a guest house, Goering's house and some SS baracks for soldiers guarding the area, from where locals were of course exported.

Don't see any 101st patches only one I can make out is I corps. My eyes aint what they used to be though.
