I dont know if this is correct or not but its worth thinking about before installing them, take care.

Not correct ATI have already posted there tests as have an independant website.

In one of the 3dmark tests temp increases by a small amount but its well within normal margins.

Only 1 confirmed report of a monitor death and thats one of there beta testers.

Sounds like bad luck having his monitor die but i reckon its just that bad luck.

So 1 monitor death and all this innuendo and rumour mongering.

Well at least next time my monitor dies i know it will not be its fault or just bad luck, I'm gonna blame the latest drivers :)

ok :) well that is good news. I am only use the 3.7 drivers for the time beeing and will try the 3.8 soon.

i have had 3.8 drivers since they been out , had no problems on this end

This is some really bad rumors that are getting propagated by some people.  Let's not help it.
