Title: Seattle/Tacoma area AH'ers
Post by: Raubvogel on October 21, 2003, 10:26:47 PM: Anything special going on in the area this weekend? I'll be in Tacoma Friday-Monday. Anyone know if the Me262 project is open to visitors on the weekends?

I've got alot going on Friday and Sunday, and work Monday..but I have Sat. available.

I'll try to set something up with the ME262 project on Saturday (you have to call ahead to get tours but I'm not sure they're open on Saturday.) If not, how about the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field? I can pick you up but I garantee I'll make you grab the "Oh SHIITT" handle in my car at least once. :)

I'll get back with you tonight or tomorrow.

Thats my guess! I hope I'm right...

According to one of my neighbors (Alaska airlines pilot who was up there with his sons 2 months ago) they had that repaired relatively fast. There was some structural damage but they just cannibalized one of the Number 3 and Number 4 since there were not any buyers for those frames *yet*.
