HI skuzzy just an question for you .
When i play AH my 8 year old son play it on my other puter offline .
Now my question for AH2 i am going to buy an new puter should be think an AMD 2.8 with an Nvidia 256 video card 9600 .
My puter is now an Celeron 800 , 510 memory with an Nvidia tnt2 32 mb .
Is it possible on final release to play with my old puter the 800 to play ah2 ?
Now i get an frame rate of 0 on it with the beta version AH2 .
otherwise i should buy for the celeron 800 an better card like an Nvidia 128 mb 5600 , if that should work to play it then offline AH2 for my son .
svalan ....... Timo and Son . :aok
If not possible i buy 2 new puters and make an account for him also .

It won't be possible as your system config pushes the limits of AH1 already.
You can buy a 1.5gig box with a functional 3d-card for about $500 now, all bells and whistles included. Ready and assembled.
I'd go for that kind of a deal instead of banging my head in the wall trying to play on 5 fps.

I dont know about the "Its not Possible" It might be too early to tell.
I have a backup 600Celeron, with an MX440 6mb PCI Card
I turned the settings down, and Had it flying on AH2 already. I also see there were some other settings I could turn down and perhaps improve the frame rates even more.

In the end, its going to be what a person considers nessacary to fly as far as Fps. Some folks can get by with 20 fames, Some need 200. Me Im happy with anything over 30 :)

My best recommendation is to wait until AH2 is closer to a full release, then make the determination. An 800Mhz P3 will, in all likelihood, be the bottom of the CPU pile.
