Luftwaffe Lingo

Abschuss = Shoot down
Alarmstart = scramble
Ami = American
Dicke autos = Fat Cars = heavy bombers
Einsatzfreude = love of combat
Endgueltige Vernichtung = final destruction of damaged or culled aircraft
Experte = Ace
Frei Jagd = 'free hunt' =fighter sweep without ground control or set objectives
Herausschuss= 'shoot out' = cull, damage a bomber enough to separate it from its formation
Himmelfahrtskommando = 'mission to heaven' = suicide mission
Holzauge = 'wooden eye' = last plane in a formation (RAF= Tail-end Charlie)
Horrido = Cry of victory
Indianer = Indians = bandits
Katschmarek = wingman (derog. term, originally a dim-witted infantryman)
Kette = flight of three aircraft (RAF= Vic)
Nachwuchs = 'New growth' = Late-war replacement pilot
Pulk = combat box (USAAF heavy bomber formation)
Rotte = 2 plane tactical element
Sitzkrieg = 'sitting war' = the 'phony war' in W. Europe Sept 39 - April 40
Schwarm = flight of four aircraft (2 rotten)
Schwarmfuehrer = flight leader
Vier mot = Four motors = heavy bombers

You forgot:

Uber - anything that's not German especially when referring to Allied weapons like Hispanos and 50 calibers.

Shwarzencloudenpoppenpuff= That stuff the Tommie ack ack gunners throw around to give us Fleigers somethin' to look at on long flights......not particularly dangerous.

Shwarzencloudenpoppenpuffundc rappenshorts.= More acurate and dangerous, usually Naval, form of above.

Ackenflakenrunin'hidin'schwine = P51 pileits ;-)

Redentypenkrappenspeel = Any LW squad radio channel, especailly Kampf squads, Ju88s take a while to climb  :)

PS...about 12 or so months ago, someone posted a "LW terminology' post on this board.....was absolutely frikkin hilarious.....noisenmakinflog genthrustenfan and stuff.  Anyone recall who authored that? he still around? anyone have a copy of it?
It really was a laugh, and would be good to see the whole thing again if anyone knows where to get it.

Yes Scheissfeuer I have popularized that phrase  I should make a patent the same thing as I did when I said Luftwhiner and it caught on like the plague...  :D
