Will continuue scenario's on a time available basis.
Getting moments of frame rate dropping to 0 to 5 (maybe 3 to 5 seconds) then pops back with 60 to 65 FPS.

Maybe not, but maybe just a new video card may be all that's required? Also make sure you have DX9. Post your specs in the Tech Help forum and someone there will advise you. Don't give up hope! ;)

3, As for scenario's..

Are "we" trying to do too much with the ground war aspect?

imho, most pile-its are in the game to fly fighters, could this be reflected by the numbers showing up in Kurland for example?

2 - Doubtfull (at the present time)

I have to fly AH2 with graphics sliders turned all the way down.
I get around 25 FPS at altitude but I can't see any ground targets and FR drops near the ground with only a few other planes in sight.

The guy you will see near orbit will probably be me :rolleyes:

YES !!!!
GVs presence kills 80% of scenarios fun.
IMO GVs should count not more than 10% in scenarios, even better if they are not at all.
It's a flight sim, afterall: most of us are not here to drive around poorly modelled beans cans.

Multi-life also sucks IMO: knowing you can die then fly again will make your survival much less exciting and "dweeb flying" spread around, defenetly killing any realism.

I have a different opinion to 13Promet.

1) I really like the multi life events (but understand that it probably makes things tricky for Scenario Orgainisers to set Victory Conditions etc)

2) Where appropriate, I think GV's and (new to me with Kurland) Ground Batteries add a welcome extra dimension to Scenarios.

3) I perfectly understand that GV action is not to everyone's tastes and so I agree with klem: "allow separate dedicated land and air signups." Or perhaps a tick box to show that you are willing to take on ground duties in this Scenario as well as air duties.

I wish I could , was a big part of my AW days flying scenarios from the first Bigweek tests till the end of AW. But my hours in my job now prevent me from committing to any scenario.

The only other comment is that I seem to get MORE kills in AHII.

Then I got the message that my video card may not be up to snuff and I would probably have flickering. Well, flickering....I don't know.......they say my password isn't correct, seems funny since I pay my month dues and it's the same password that I use for AEI.

WIll, I upgrade my pc ?......probably not since this system is only a 15 month old Dell model 2350 (supposedly loaded)

Guess I will just have to cancel membership when it gets to the point of loading AEII or not playing at all

Lately, I haven't been able to fly in scenarios, and I miss participating. RL has got me by the shorthairs. I am hopeful that I will be able to get involved again.

3D PCI Cards are available. A friend bought a PCI GeForce4 64Mb a while ago. I recently upgraded from the AGP version of that but it ran AH2 reasonably well. Some 128Mb examples:

Scenario designs are going overboard on GV elements at the moment however. If there is really that much interest in GVs in a flight sim (particularly where they aren't modelled all that well, to be honest, certainly not with as much realism and fidelity as the aircraft (and that's hardly surprising)) then run separate GV-only scenarios and see if there is REALLY that much interest in pissing around in vehicles on the part of the AH community. I think not.

Alternatively, model GVs with as much fidelity as in WW2OL and I might be able to muster some enthusiasm for that element of it all. But that would take time away from aircraft development, so on second thoughts, don't! Wouldn't mind if manned GVs went away altogether, in fact.
