Title: No Human vs AI Dogfight

 Why don't the AI even bother to shoot down human players anymore? It used to be like that, but what happened? :(

There is an overly difficult trick...

First actually convincing the AI to take off with their formation then killing the leader. After that it is a toss-up whether or not the drone chooses to padlock onto you as an enemy... What makes even less sense is launching the mission HOWEVER taking off outside of the mission as a rook... "Even then a toss-up"

Sadly it's on the to-do list to have this wonderful time-killer/training tool to be rejuvinated...

Where are you trying to find AI dogfights?

Uhh...Staged missions offline of course(because I can't get online subscription)

I'm sure they will fix the staged missions some day, but staged missions don't result in revenue to HTC as directly as other efforts that have more of their attention. HTC must focus on the core of his business in order to keep freebies like offline missions coming. In the meantime, I recommend that you install an additional, old copy of Aces High Version 2.12.4 as described here:

It's easy to keep two copies of Aces High on your hard disk drive. Use the latest, greatest version for online play, and use the older one for LAN and offline mission play.
