Congrats, HT!  I've been quietly waiting and rooting for you guys to hurdle this barrier.  I imagine once final muster is passed with Oculus regarding Publishing, your marketing efforts and messages will reflect this huge win.  Kudos!     :joystick:  :airplane:

PS: Skuzzy will need to add a VR Pilot emoji to the BBS now!

Does this mean that the updates will be done in the same way as othe Oculus home products.
I had to do a system rebuild so I had to re install AH in Oculus home. The version it installed was not the current version and there were several updates that applied one after the other?

This really should help with getting new people.

Congratulation Hitech.

I don't have VR gear for the game but, any recognition and creation of content by another company in this Industry for your game is a positive sign for the future.

Congrats - the only thing surprising to me is that it took them this long, especially when you consider how much better the Rift is implemented in AH then pretty much every other flight sim I've tried it with.

That's cool. Now we just need those finger-sensing gloves so you can actually tick off switches and "grab" the virtual stick and see your hands move....

Okay, maybe save that for AH4.. or AH5.  :airplane:

FlyInside for FSX supports the leap motion controller (sticks to the front of your Rift, costs $90). It lets you use your hands in the virtual cockpit, no gloves required.

Oculus user here. Some issues I've noticed:

1) Menus sometimes refuse to close
2) Tank aiming sight has no tracking, moving your head does not move or rotate the view, thus nausea.
3) The Z key's distortion is also nauseous in VR
4) Scale is off in some areas, for example tanks feel smaller than real ones, and when joining a carrier's tower, the room (carrier bridge) is absolutely tiny (steel door the size of my monitor).
5) Accessing the controls menu in VR causes heavy FPS drops

1) yeah, seems to be about head solidness vs mouse
2) is as it should be (also cannot really be done, as turret traversal is not instantaneous)
3) don't have that issue, but it is a zoom function, get some binoculars and try doing everyday tasks with them
4) nah
5) yeah

I don't recognize that P-38J front and center in the gallery homepage.   Could there be a new P-38 model in our near future?
