Would it be possible to give the Ar234 the 2x DT loadout without the centerline 500kg bomb?

No, but if using the Ar234 in a proper recon role it would be nice to allow it to take drop tanks without the bomb.

It would be. The B-1 was recon and the B-2 was the bomber.

The rear cannon should be gone. Forward cannon was a thing. Rearward cannon never happened. The recon version, from all documentation, never existed.

Yes. Ar 234s did run recon missions, though. I do not know what model it was with. That's not really the point here anyway.

The Arado we have flew missions with bombs. Without bombs it doesn't sortie. Are you worried about score, as the reason for not launching with a bomb and dumping it on the rwy?

Nope, I am not worried about score. However, I am worried about providing realistic setups and scenarios in the events I put on the table. By your logic, why do we have a load out with no bombs for it?

Well, we do. :)
On a related note, we have the Ar 234B. Not the B-1, B-2, or B-2b. I don't see it specified anywhere, so I don't see an issue with an extra harmless loadout to represent something that happened in real life.

Sure make it an option for any bomber to lift without bombs.... but why wouldn't you want the bomb for a target of opportunity? Can always dump it on the runway.

The Ar 234 was used in a reconnaissance role quite a bit in the war (probably even more so than a bomber role), so it would be nice to have that option, especially in events so the CM team could disable the bomb loadouts. But yes, in a pinch the 2x DT and 1x 500KG could be taken, or it can up without anything underneath.

Why not just drop bombs on runway? We have done it quite a few times in jabos for fso and scenarios.

So in Events we can disable the bombs but still low drop tanks for recon-style flights.
