Why not lower the time between switching sides? It would for sure promote more combat. It is a bummer to change sides and then you find no fights and you can’t switch...

Maybe they could tie it in to the ENY, a countries ENY goes up, time lowers.

Should be able to switch to the lowest country at any time... maybe within a percentage threshhold or something.

Its obvious we wont go to two counties to concentrate the action, so at least let us pursue it on our own terms.

I like this idea aswell. Really there are a few good ideas that could be implemented

The majority of peeps just want good fighter action. A 2-3 hour switch time would be much benefitial for the players if the tide changes after you switch. No one could spy after waiting 2-3 hours. The tide and fight changes about every hour to hour and a half. Would be nice if there was a way to see whose winning the dar bar on the other side of the map or order to switch to the team that is fighting the hoard.

I think 1 hour is the better number. Really any number closer to 0 will do for me.
The time HAS to be lowered regardless.

That is the thing that I disagree with HT on. The side switch time is there as a damper to prevent swings from being too quick. Just naturally, at certain times of the day numbers swing much faster than his 6 hour switch time damper. I've seen ENY switch from massively in one side's favor to even to heavily against that side over the period of a couple hours. That seems to me to render the damper pointless because the arena naturally changes at a faster pace than it does. But, it's been brought up a few dozen times, the answer's always been no. This doesn't look to me like the thread that will convince him either.

How many people did you consult when coming up with your maps? I did not get asked, seems like you were projecting your emotions into what you thought would make a good map.

Bustr regularly seeks and gets feedback. It's not a general call on the forum .... that's potential chaos. He does get it from HT ..... but that likely doesn't count in your opinion. Consulting you would likely be a complete waste of time. :D

Seems to be the accepted norm around here. People post about what other people are thinking. I was just conforming to the norm.
Bottom line, bustr attacked violator when all he did was make a valid suggestion. I simply returned fire. Why are you coming at me and not at bustr?

see the problem is you think the accepted norm around here is to post about what people are thinking. but how do you know what people are thinking? what am I thinking now?
food for thought: do you know that most of the people dont change sides? actually i dont know that for sure. but based on my observations since i joined I would bet that is true. then again i could be wrong because only hitech has the data and I am not part of his weekly data sharing emails.
another food for thought: did you know that when hitech lowered the change time from 12 hours to 6 hours, weeks later people were complaining that 12 hours was way to long? there are lots of threads about it till hitech informed them that it had been changed for several weeks.

It’s extremely frustrating to log on get up in a plane, fight dies out. Can’t find another one in the air switch sides to find none on the other side. So I just log off. I can’t be the only one who has had this happened.
