Title: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Post by: TEShaw on August 25, 2019, 07:31:07 AM
As I was stumbling through the nVidia control panel, I came across 'Set up 3D stereoscopic...'

One of the options was to use red/blue 3D glasses (it's actually cyan, not blue), and, as I have more than 100 pairs of anaglyphic  glasses, I checked the box.

I never saw any results in anything I do on the computer, and forgot all about it.

Then, yesterday, I happened to start up 'Rome: Total War II'.  Wow.  I can't say 3D improves my marshaling of troops on the battlefield, but the slaughter is more spectacular.

(Yes, I'm laughing at myself.)

regards,

T. E. Shaw

If you still have a copy, 3D should work with AH2.

It did, in 2008/2009 I used to play using an Emagin Z800 VR Headset glovepie to emulate trackir inputs and tridef drivers to do the stereoscopic stuff.
