Title: Rhetorical question....... Midwar Arena Message
Post by: GrandpaChaps on December 02, 2019, 05:46:14 PM
Seems pretty basic to me....

But, if we no longer HAVE a midwar arena, how can you justify creating an AvA map that says "all midwar planes are unavailable?"

Or/and in basic rules that "all midwar planes" are mentioned?

If we don't have a midwar arena, how can you state that in the requirements of the the arena?   :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead

No, if you join the AvA now, you'll see the arena message.  But, regardless; how can you use the "midwar" term when you don't have midwar arenas?

What I mean is, some of us who have been with the game for a while know what "midwar" means.  But, there are a lot of newer people.  How can you have an arena set up with an arena message that mentions aircraft requirements when you may not have a reference to what "midwar planes" or "midwar aircraft" means?    :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead

Or, at least bring back Midwar arena with maps so people know what the h3ll "midwar" means!   :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead

And, so many of us DID like and fight in midwar.

Sorry Jaeger but it is so logical to me, why do we reference something that is no longer present?????  We do not have a midwar arena.  So, how would someone who is new to the game know what "midwar planes" means??????   :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead

Um, I believe mid-war planes still exist in the game. The only time they were never available in an arena was when we had an 'Early War Arena.' Mid war planes are available in the MA and they may be available in the AVA when featured (usually just a part of that set on each side as historically offered).

Those of us that know history, know midwar planes. It has nothing to do with any arena.

So, why mention midwar planes specifically in the midwar clipboard info?  Just seems, illogical.

Thanks.

I'm sure they'll take it under advisement.

Dramatic effect: judging score on a scale of 1 to 10 =  2
Making a point : judging score on a scale of 1 to 10 = 1.5

:rofl  might want to go get a CTscan and/or MRI done on that brain after slamming your head in to the brick wall 68 times.... :noid

uh, wait, Arlo?  I thought Arlo had cancer and passed away?  I'm confused. A few years back, back in the previous version... we had an Arlo.  But, he had cancer and I swear I heard he passed away from cancer.  So..... sorry mate, are you...

Surely not, you are a new Arlo?

If there were rumors of my death they have been greatly exaggerated. My activity has been curtailed, though.
