My wife bought me the Thrustmaster 16000m PCS. Its the Joystick, Throttle, Pedal package thing. Anyway, I was really hoping to use the pedals as the rutter (vs the joystick twist option). However, in setup I can't figure out how to get each pedal to operate right and left separately. The pedals have the Slider option, but cant stand that.
I'm guessing here but thinking it has to do with analog? Kind of sucks because it seems like the pedals (up and down operation) are only good for maybe braking?
Thanks for any clarification.

seriously, I spelled rudder like that? wow too many dings to the ol noggin I guess

You are correct. Unless there is a switch to change the operation like the old CH pedals, you have to use the sliding function for rudder(yaw). The pedals can be set to left and right toe brakes.
I understand you don't like the sliding but I encourage you to try to get used to it.

I appreciate it FLS, and will do as it appears I have no choice. I tried a bit of scaling and could never get raw/scaled to center correctly. I will mess with it some more. And yes I'm used to the old CH pedals. It's been awhile, obviously. Thanks again.

Try the default scaling with sufficient dead zone in the center.

When going up the controller scale from mouse to hotas i think the rutter pedals :aok take the longest to adapt to. Hang in there.
