Ctrl Alt Del and restart or shutdown only way out of it. Dump files attached.

I was having same problem on this map riftval and on fordjma I think is the name of the map - but when I switched from version DX9 to version DX11 there's no problem exiting game. hope it works for you. I had switched to DX9 because there were mini freezes when I first started using DX11

I use Alt F4 to exit both maps.
:salute

Mine locks up as well.

Thanks 428CJ I'll give that a try. DX11 was stuttering bad for me in the past haven't tried it in awhile.

alt F4 should work too, used to be a bad joke played on newbs, one less button press I guess is the only upside :)

My Game (AHIII) locks up when I exit an Arena in DX9 version but not the DX11 version.
It is only the game that locks up on me and I can force it to close from the taskbar or the task manager.
I honestly can't tell the difference between the two versions. I run 6070x1200 on Max settings with shadows and sometimes reflections (depending on the ride) disabled.
The only time I dipped below 60 FPS is during a mass take off in Saturdays Scenario ... I think I got as low as 47 FPS.
I'm running on a Xeon e3 1231 v3 with 32gb DDR3, EVGA gtx 1080ti OC and a Sound blaster Z on windows 10 pro.

I get the same, have to alt F4 or use task manager to fix.
