Title: WWI Summer Party - 6/26

By popular demand, we will have a WWI Combat Challenge in the summer. The last Friday of June will be the date for our WWI party, June 26 at 11 PM ET. If you have never been to a WWI Combat Challenge, you might want to make plans. It gets crazy in a hurry. Even if WWI is not your thing, you might want to drop in and have some fun with us. Nothing quite like a 50 man, WWI firball.

Please make plans to join us this Friday night at 11 PM ET for our Summer WWI Combat Challenge. If you have never flown a Combat Challenge, or a WWI Combat Challenge, you need to come see it to believe it. The fights are intense for 2 hours and afterwards, you may need to ice your wrist and elbow. Come join us for some pure dogfighting, the way it was dreamt of being.

It is our normal FSO start time. It allows all in the US to have a chance at making the event (8 PM on the West Coast). I wish it was earlier, too.

Must have been a lot of folks pulling the terrain. The server was ice slow. Terrains usually download almost instantly. That one was just sitting there. I just canceled it. Did not get to make it. Watched TV instead.

Go here: https://ahevents.net/index.php/event-logs

Look at the bottom for "CC" Events. Pull down the dropdown menu and click on the top one (WWI Combat Challenge 6/26). From there, you can see your stats and everyone else's.

I hate you and anyone else missed it. I don't know why it would have taken so much time. There was a bit of lag in the fights last night, too. I wonder if the map is poorly optimized?

I should have visited the arena earlier. In any case it was odd. I was tired and just decided to give up.
