40 years ago today we lost a rather influential rock drummer.
John Henry Bonham passed away 25 September 1980.
No vodka for me today.

Bonzo!   Led Zepplin came on line in summer of 1969.  They produced and released their first album.  I bought their 8 track and vinyl.  Rock hasn't been the same without them.

Tribute to LZ at the Kennedy Center.  Click link and learn!

Do yourself a favor if you're a Zep Fan.  Watch the entire 22 mins.  Foo Fighters, Kid Rock and Lenny Kravitz do a tribute but the best is the last as Heart Does Stairway to Heaven.

You will see tears in the eyes of Jimmy Page and Robert Plant during Hearts' performance.  It was spectacular.
