Title: Fortress Europe Mission #8 - 11/27/2020 - The BIG "B"

BOMBER TYPE: B-17G AND B-24J

B-17 TARGET:  BERLIN CITY - 18.12.5 (DROP - T+50-/+)
B-24 TARGET: MAGDEBURG CITY - 16.11.4 (DROP - T+52-/+)

ALLIED ESCORT:  P-38L, P-47M, P-51D (A6)
REICH DEFENSE: Bf 109K-4, Fw 190A-8, Fw 190D-9, Me 410 (A106 and A2)

- Me 163 (A2 ONLY)
- Me 262 and Ta 152 Disabled at T+5

LAUNCH RULES

1) A61 OPENS AT T+30 FOR ALLIES

2) FLIGHT WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL T+105

How to participate:

BOMBER: Join 117 Vox and go to A4 Tower. I will place bomber pilots in whatever Bomber they request at the start of the mission. If you die, I will place you into a bomber at your request until bombers are exhausted. A37 will be open for ALLIED RECOVERY.

ESCORT: Join 117 Vox and go to A6 Tower. Arm Fighter and launch from A6 NORTH. A61 WILL BE ALLIED - OPENS AT T+30.

LUFTWAFFE: Join Luftwaffe Vox or head to A106 tower and Arm Fighter and launch from A106 or A2.

Best one of these events I have been in yet. The Bad Guys had 9 pilots on deck, 4 pilots on leave and got 30 kills. Upping the Me-163 to go after bombers is about the best thing in Aces High IMHO. Right up there with attacking bombers in a Me-262 looking back and seeing two Chuck Yeagers tryin to kill me. Can't thank Nefarious enough for putting these missions together. If everyone from the main arena was in there it would have been better. Ironic because it is those historical battles which draw most of us to this game in the first place and yet when those same historical battles are replicated not that many of those people show up.

Maybe some Day.
