Title: Turtle Beach
Post by: RichardDarkwood on January 05, 2023, 06:45:57 AM
Has anyone else looked at the new joystick from turtle beach. It is for MFS2020 on Xbox as well as PC games.

$129.00 retail

It has a digital readout screen.

Thoughts????

Interesting. Seems like a high-ish price point for what it is, hope the quality is good. At the very least it's some competition in the mid-level stick market...somewhere between the T.16000M and the X-52 Pro.

Being ambidextrous it's an interesting option. As with the T.16000M I wonder if the "other side" buttons will get less use. The throttle lever looks good and being on the side rather than in the middle it's easy to use with the other hand. The other lever will definitely be less used as it's on the "wrong side".  I also wonder how ergonomic the stick is being a straight tube. Then again the height adjustable palm rest can make it really nice. Plus there's contactless sensors which are both accurate and long lasting. Sounds good. And the reviews also look promising.

The retail price is a bit high indeed. For the same price you'd get a T.16000M HOTAS. And for the price of the TurtleBeach pedals only you'd get the full set of T.16000M with a spare stick. But if you only want a twisty stick the price might be right.

LED looks like a waste like it was on the X52

The tm1600 is the stick you need if you aren't going warthog and above

It's throttle is also the best bang for the buck going imo

I have the T16000 full HOTAS setup already. This turtle beach joystick looks like an upgrade on the joystick at least
