Maineac1 and others have discovered that you can drive into and out of maps rooms. The suspect base was A61
Also, I have noticed that there is an imbalance in distance to travel between countries in regards to attacking a city from the nearest base on the enemies island. 2 countries have the HQ closest while 1 country has the city closest. This adds an additional flight time of 5-10 minutes versus other countries. Please have a look and consider changing the placement of the HQ and city for one country who has that advamtage which is the southern most country.

Flew through clouds at about 7k, lost all icons. :bhead
It turns out film shows the loss of icons after going through cloud. It's the same thing like on ETOMA

Any base with Map Room on the base, you can drive into. ndilse tank town bases have the same thing.

Shore battery at A91 faces inland. Also, SBs at P139 are attached to A33.

Me 163B is still enabled everywhere. And at least for the Knights on position #3, all AA bases have everything enabled, from Komet to B-29.
(I might add that being able to do a resupply run either in m3 or C-47 in less than 3 Minutes to the factories is definitely a bad thing for gameplay)
And for the loss of icons, it's not an isolated occurrence. The participants of the big 30k bomber raid yesterday for the most part had no icons, as well as some Jabos heading for the strats. I had to fly following the map icon and shutting my engine on and off to locate them, as I simply can't see a fighter past 100 yards without icons. That absolutely has to get fixed on this map and ETOMA ASAP.

There will always be a bug hidden somewhere, but the missing icon thing seriously needs to be addressed. 2 cents.

Isn't that about standard icon range from a plane for non-moving GV? VehicleSeenIconRange for planes set at 3750 in the arena settings, which is (if I recall correctly) the max icon distance in feet for moving vehicles. Not moving would halve that range.

Not sure but I haven seen it at 1000 other maps. Might have been me not paying attention.

I do agree that 3 minute resup runs are bad for overal gameplay but....

Most of the maps that have gv access to the strats, take 3 1/2 to 4 minutes for the m3's to get from the spawn to the strat.

Not enough airfields to engage the inner portion of the map. It feels like most fights will be pushed to the extremes edges.
It’s northco only a bigger lake and flatter ground. That’s me anyway.

3 Points is still broken. Me 163 enabled on all fields, icon loss for spotter and spotted after one of them goes through cloud at altitude.

I could be wrong about this but we did have that "disappearing icons after flying through clouds" thing happen in FSO. IIRC it was related to the weather/clouds file being used. One of the setup CMs probably has more info on it. Hasn't happened in a while so I think they just don't use that file anymore.

Had a bish pony bravo flying around A31 without an icon. Every other plane had an icon, both in real time and on film. As far as I can tell that was the only plane without an icon.

Still no icons, half the time, Kill Shot myself shooting today firing at the wrong P-51. Personally I would be okay with no ICON thing if we was playing axis vs allies.
But with everyone flying anything they want this is a more than little tough even with somebody with good situational awareness. I forgot I wasn't playing IL-2 Battle of
Stalingrad today and was telling somebody to turn on there running lights. :huh

wHile on cv140 shelling using shift q on sb at 19 range gate will not hold a constant range, adjustments are all over the place! :joystick: :joystick:

Yes I am aware of it. I don't have access to change the Arena settings. The changes to the map were made but Hitech has not re-compiled it for the MA.
