Title: How Long Is Soft?

Despite my blindly accepting the risk of the probable stream of imminent double entendre replies I am about to receive… it’s a real question.
 
How long does a structure stay “soft” after it’s damaged. For example: you drop on a VH with a full load of goodies but you’re not quite spot on. Perhaps you amass about 2K lbs of ordinance on that VH.

How long do you have to drop the other 1K before it resets? :airplane:

The same place he learned to ditch a 109 with every part shot off (including radiator and oil) after attacking three B-17s with a Mustang on his six hitting him the entire way.
