Title: new version of benchmark site
Post by: fradim on December 07, 2000, 06:48:00 PM
hi, guys :-)

I have just updated benchmark site site. Among other changes, it has a new design which I hope makes navigation easier and:

1. some changes to benchmark tables, which now have vsync column, support to higher resolutions and options of sorting;

2. an "Image Quality" section, where you can compare different video cards brands and configurations through screenshots;

3. tech talk section now has some useful links.

I have also taken out some out-of-date articles. Hope some techie people here can help making it really useful to aces high community. After all, I have my limitations ;-)

finally, frame rate benchmark data is really out-of-date. Looks like I couldnīt convince people here to support site as Iīd like. Anyway, if you want to see more relevant data, visit warbirds version of this site.

Finally, after 1.05 is out I want to suggest you to delete all data and start it all over again. BTW, Iīm open to any suggestions, including new ideas to benchmarking protocol.

hope you like it :-)
