Ct Set-up OCT. 31 - NOV. 6,2003

U.S. Invasion of the Phillipine Islands

The United States and Douglas McArthur have began to fulfill McArthur's promise to the Phillipine people:
"I SHALL RETURN"
So far, the USN and USMC have managed to secure a few fields on the island of Mindanao, but the majority of th
island remains in Japanese hands.
The US is faced with the daunting task of dislodging the Japanese, who have assembled a vast complex of airfields
and remote vehicle bases, from the island.

Several supporting carrier fleets are on hand to assist in the capture of the island, but even the mighty
United States Navy may not have enough muscle to wrestle control of the island away from the Japanese.

Darkness will be minimized.
Due to limitations within the system, I was unable to make too many changes to the arena. The Japanese will have
TWO fleets, as do the Americans.
NOTE: Rook bases are A61, P62, and fleet C63, which is hidden and out of play. Please do not attempt to capture
these bases, as the arena will reset. Disregard them, as they do not and will not affect gameplay. They are out
of the way, and need not be bothered.
Bomber formations, if possible within the setup controls, will be disabled.

I note that bomber formations are enabled in the setup and watched a single player turn C40 into rubble twice last night using KI-67s.

Disabling Bomber Formations is in SETUP->Arena Settings->FlightModeFlags

As soon as some player makes it:), presently most map work is on hold awaiting the new TE which is to come with the release of AH2.

They expect you to do everything Brady. From holding their hands from the time they log in to consoling them every time there’s a set up they don’t like.

Now get to work making them a Philippines Map or quit the ct staff all together.

Or better yet hang in there just long enough to out last them.

Just thought I'd drop a quick note to say that I'm enjoying this setup. I get great frame rates on this map, I get a kick out of diving into the gorges, and the plane set is very well balanced.

Sure it’s called for.

Anyone can download the terrain editor, anyone can research base locations and field layouts, anyone can research the plane set up and paint schemes. Some people do and some whine and complain and demand others do it.

Read Bugs "Why isn’t my mommy...err Cm online when I play" and the "why wont the cms listen to me" crap.

There’s plenty for the players to do. Some folks just want it done for them. When it doesn’t get done they complain.

I am just offerring a friendly reminder in case it goes by un-noticed.
