1.99.5 bugs

looks and works great overall for me, only real "bug" was vidio lockup at high speeds near ground when I fired guns. Happened 3 times 2 on "vulches"...sorry Josephe... and once on a high speed bounce on a con on the deck. In all three cases the GUI locked up and the guns fired till crash registered (2-3 seconds).

On 1 other occasion GUI locked up on dive pass...I applied back pressure on stick and came out in a climb...no guns that time. I was in a number of dogfights down low and had no problems or lock ups at lower speeds/attitudes.

Collisions and Damage
1. Collisions appear to work! Ground, Trees, Hangars, Planes. Only anomaly was one (out of several) crashes into ground/trees where I travelled underground for about 10 seconds. Don't know if it was my bashing the Esc key or just the system taking its time before I was returned to the Tower.
2. Can see the damage smoke through the P51D fuselage/rad housing.
3. P51D right aileron (and left?) still shows as a top 'skin' when shot off. FM seems to be suitably affected though.
4. Like the way the u/c fell out in bits when it was hit in flight.
5. I think my engine was dead (prop was windmilling) but I still had throttle power/propulsion.

Graphics
1. BOTH detail and object size sliders fully to the right (max Performance).
2. Takes a few seconds to load all visible terrain when going on runway.
3. Sometime get minifreezes (~ 50 - 100 millisecs) especially when looking down on terrain across a wing.
4. Sometimes MAJOR freezes of 6-10 seconds when another aircraft passes by Head On and very close and probably aggravated by Tracers although it happens even if I don't fire. Doesn't always happen though.

FRs
1. ~45 on the runway
2. Up to 70 in flight depending on what is going on

FMs
1. Great improvement. PLEASE DON'T DUMB THEM DOWN!
2. Probably not finished yet (?) but the Spit9 definitely has something wrong on takeoff - swings wildly until falling off the u/c. Only way was to select auto-angle and grab it at 110mph (a general opinion among my buddies). Perhaps u/c modelling? (the Rudder and Vertical Stabiliser seem to have enough authority in flight).
3. The 109 was infamous for killing students on takeoff (really have to pick that wing up don't you :) but I never heard of the Spit9 being wild like that. FW is great, P51s are nice.
4. Are they 'Real' - I don't know but they 'seem more realistic'.
5. More... More !!

General
(its ok, I know its a beta)
1. No crash explosions.
2. Not much ammo strike effect.
3. Only partial icons of some planes that are near the ground.
4. Spit9 Artificial Horizon still dithering down right hand side.
5. Fog - nice touch

Spit V flys too good missing a wingtip

In a series of turn fights with tilt - we had a collision - he exploded - i lost a wing tip. But flew 3 or 4 more engagements with no noticeable loss of manuverability even with missing wingtip.
