Skining question

If you are changing the decals on the original skin. How do you make sure that the rivet line is still visable after re skinning( or painting)?

Create a separate layer for panel lines and the rivets, and then place the new markings under the partial panel lines/rivets.

 And then, modify colors of the rivets and panel lines which are now over the markings, so it looks appropriate.
