Thanks Participants!  :)

Last  frame nicely reached the climax we were building to I thought.  Some hard and nasty air to air duelling and excellent bombing by both sides.

Axis Plan when a bit awry when our strike force ran into the Allied strike force half way to target - but who can predict what the opposition will do :)

Only slightly negative thing from task/setup that I have to report is that at the speed of B5N2 it was not possible to return to base by set frame end (short about 8 minutes) even with direct routing and no time wasting.  The poor old thing is slower than a goon.  Not a serious complaint :) just that we don't like keeping the CM's out of bed whilst we struggle home :D
I get really really tired of selective realism disguised as a desire to make bombers easier to kill.

Hats off to the axis............

Special mention for axis pilot Dictor but for the pilot wounds (inflicted by him) I would not have blacked out as I dived to deliver the killer bomb onto the last Axis Cv.

and a wtg for gunner UNO who kept the last allied SBD alive despite repeated attacks from Axis Zero's................can be my gunner any time:)
