Old stuff found stored
« on: February 27, 2004, 02:56:07 PM »
I am currently thinning out all our "stuff" for the day in June when we leave the house behind and head off in our RV. Today I came accross a box full of old disks. Most are 5" floppys including a bunch of my copies of Apple 2 games! I even ran accross my DOS 3.2 disks. :)

Some of the 3.5" floppy games might still work. Kind of strange how in only 10 years things have changed so much that the games we used to think were really great are now obsolescent icons almost in the "stone age".

Shame so many of you live so far away as I'll be parting with some of these gems. Heck I even found a copy of DOOM 1!
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

At one of my jobs in the late 80's we used 8" disks.   Five inchers were for 1337z.
