It has come to my attention that most people know exactly where the closest fire station is to their house and if it is a vol. or paid (staffed) dept.
I'll bet most people don't know where the closest ambulance is to their house and if it is staffed or on call and is it BLS or ALS???
Don't just assume that it is at the fire dept, most ambulances in the nation are privetly owned for profit companys.
