I plan to add 4 pages:

"Target for today: Allies"

"Target for today: Axis"

"Covert Ops: Allies"

"Covert Ops: Axis"

TFT[/i] pages will cover strategic and tactical targets as well as results from missions already run. All missions are offensive in nature (bombers or attack aircraft attempting to destroy or inflict as much damage on enemy targets as possible. Defense is usually a persistant element that requires no mission, per say.

Covert Ops[/i] is an idea I've cooked up to simulate missions in support of either side's intelligence/counter-intelligence networks and involve mission objectives such as agent insertion/retrieval and resupplying guerilla forces. And will also show mission successes/failures.

Such missions require a transport ("Dakota" or "Ju-52") as well as an M3 on the other side. That's right ... it requires a player to be on the other side to be the "agent" or "guerillas."

Guerilla resupply involves taking vehicle supplies behind enemy lines and dropping them at a pre-determined drop-zone where the agent's m3 awaits retrieval.

Inserting enemy agents involves either dropping the agent(s) by parachute or landing and dropping off the agent(s) at a pre-determined drop-zone/landing site where the underground is represented by a player in an m3 to "pick up" the agent.

Recovering an agent involves landing at a pre-determined landing site where the transport plane is met by an m3 that drops the agent(s) for pick-up.

An additional factor or level of difficulty can involve the need to capture a small field behind enemy lines for the transport to refuel from.

Transports are instructed to return to their side and land. In the case of supply drops and agent insertion, partial success is attainable if the transport is lost on it's return trip. In the case of agent retrieval, the transport must make it back to friendly territory and at least ditch or bail without capture for the mission to be a success.

All missions will have a "mission window" (it could be 24 hrs or it could be until the end of the setup). For missions to be officially completed (or even jst officially reported) - players should submit via email the details of the mission (debriefing) involving:

1: The mission.

2: The players involved.

3: The results/losses.

4: Time/date of mission.

Missions will be recorded based on when the report was received on a first come basis (even if someone runs the mission first, if they don't report it until after someone else does then the mission
is recorded as having been accomplished/attempted by the first group/player reporting).

Players are encouraged to report mission results no matter the outcome. Additional missions may hinge on previous results.

(I may be getting in over my head) :D

Well, you have the requisite skills, but no selfrespecting mindless furballer puts up a MISHUN[/b] page!:p

Just kidding Arlo, I think what you are doing is really cool and will be good for the CT.

Yeah, its a site that lets individuals and squads get on the same page so to speak on what the mission plans might be and intel on the current state of the map. Seems like a good idea to me since the one major thing the CT lacks is (relatively) historical missions to go along with its (relatively) historical planesets.
