Some problems regarding P-38L textures...
« on: April 17, 2004, 07:04:10 AM »
The P-38L seems to have some serious issues besides the glare coating..

The obvious square area visible on the left cowl, is where the kill markings on McGuire's PudgyV is depicted. For some reason, that particular area seems to use a different sort of lighting/reflective quality - which clearly interferes with the consistency of the skin should it be removed.

It seems there's no separate alpha texture that is causing this, and the kill markings for the PudgyV is clearly located in the main textures. Even if that part of the texture is corrected, the problem persists.

IMO, this is a more unfortunate problem than the black anti-glare surface on the top of the cowl area which cannot be removed..

 ..

I know everybody's busy.. I'm not really complaining. But even if there are no updates scheduled for the P-38L anytime soon, it'd be nice if this particular problem is addressed.. :)
