I would hope they have something planned.  Well that is unless there is a special anniversary in Venezuelan military aviation, because that would most likely supersede plans for any other setup.

Actually it's the anniversary of the first Spit V rolling off the assembly line. (eg)

I have a feeling that we will all be playing in AH II by then and the CT for it will not be available at that time. This is just a hunch not fact.;)

lvt's vs panzers/shore batteries works for me.

maybe 109g-6's perked at 2,500 vs goons.

That week in June corresponds with not one but two milestones in history:  The Battle of Midway, and D-Day.
That week is my setup, and I have been leaning towards the former scenario, but nothing is set in concrete as yet.

There are many milestones:
The last of the 338,000 British, French and Belgian forces evacuated from Dunkirk - 4th June, 1940
Start of the battle of Midway - 3rd June, 1942
Allied troops capture Rome- 4th June, 1944
Allied landings in Normandy- 6th June, 1944
Soviet offensive against Finland - 9th June 1944
Allied landings in Saipan, Marianas- 15th Jun 1944

D-Day was 60 years ago, Midway 62 years. People tend to like more round numbers.

Saw it at the movie theater back when I was a "Pup." It's alot better when you see it on the big screen - just like being in the middle of the battle.

Too bad Chuck got splattered all over the deck.  Hope his NRA insurance was paid up.  :D

Midway was good, but "Tora! Tora! Tora!" (which most of the non-WWII footage came from) was even better.
