Strange malfunction .................
« on: June 13, 2004, 03:39:05 PM »
I have a strange problem.

When I swithced to CH Pro USB pedals I found I can no longer take off in a Goon (C-47).  It just rolls down the runway like it's in mud and never gains enough speed to fly.

All the other planes take-off, fly and land perfectly well with the pedals.  It's just the C-47 that won't take off.

I re-calibrated my pedals in Windows and AH but to no avail.  What to do?

Thanks for your help.

I've experienced similar problems with various times since i got my set of pedals (CHproducts USB).  I haven't been able to link it to any particular cause or aircraft it just seems to happen randomly.  Sometimes if I move the pedals through their full range of motion including toe brakes while the engine idles it will clear up the problem.  I'm not sure if the problem is linked to the rudder axis or the toe brakes.

I would suspect the toe brakes.  Check the AH setup to see if you are getting brake movement without realizing it.
