Trees, Bug or Feature?

Last night 2 of my squad mates and I cornered a Tiger under some trees. We had been chasing it and dropping bombs but missing. When it stopped we had rockets, cannons and 50's.

Issue is, with bombs we got a crater which cleared trees out of the way. With rockets, 20mm, and 50 cal, we didn't even cut off a single branch hiding the Tiger. The rocket warheads should have cleared a tree or 2.

Later with a field ack, I think it's a 37mm, I started shooting at tree trunks near my position. I got sprites, but the trees never blew up like you saw in a "Band of Brothers" episode or even broke in half and fell down.

So unless we have bombs, the GV's can hide in the woods, but unlike real life, we wont be clearing trees and branches when we hit them while shooting around the hidden GV?

I guess you would have to leave those trees and branches destroyed until the map comes back on a new cycle.

Just curious.:)  If this is the case, it is best to know it now and plan tactics for it then to get upset about it down the road. Actually the Tiger hideing in the trees was great. We had lots of action attacking.:aok

I think  hiteck  said some where else  to  make  all  the trees  be  destroyable   would  not  be feasible  it  would  oevr run  the  resources.
  it  should  make  gvs  a bit  more  enjoyble  till the    model  is  updated  and  dont  get  killed  by  1  ping  .303s  lol
