Knocked the entire wing off spitfire, it stayed in "controlled" flight and continued the engagement...  thats some serious trimming!

I saw a couple of planes that visually looked unable to fly, but were still flying.  A LA7 around A9 had both wings missing at the midpoint and  no elevators / tail stabilizer that I could see on my FE, but was still able to dog fight for a couple of minutes.  

I forgot what the second one was, but another person in the area said that they saw a plane missing its wing still fire rockets from the "missing" wing.

Maybe it's someting to do with lag? I don't know enough about it.
