Greetings
I've noticed that prior to update packet 5 my frame
rates were betwix 90-110, since the update to packet 5 my frame
rate dropped to between 38-68
What is causing this big drop & why?

Somebody is just liable to come in here and slap you about Happy.
Actually, I think the route changes may be occurring due to Savvis's integration of the Cable and Wireless network. They purchased it a few months back and have been slowly getting that big backbone integrated.

Say Skuzzy I don't understand because I was talking about "FPS"
loss at installation of Packet 5 & what would cause that ... not being a wise bellybutton ... I just don't understand as to what would create the loss of FPS

I thought you were talking about your ping times. Sorry for the misunderstanding. When I see the word 'packet' I jump right into network mode.
I have no idea what would cause that. Could you shoot me a copy of the DXDIAG output?
