...described in the Book of Revelation is actually a reference to a computer system.
Since my son moved off to college for the second summer term, taking his Dell 4600 with him, leaving me to attempt to play AHII on the old hp pavilion 6835, complete with celeron processor, I am more convinced of this than ever.
For proof I offer the following:
The Beast is described as the servant of the anti-Christ.
He causes the people to worship the anti-Christ and his "image."
In the end days, no one can buy or sell without having the "number" of the anti-Christ/Beast in their forehead.
The "number" is said to be 666...and it is hinted that for those who "know" it can be used as a means of identifying "it/him" when it/he appears.
Now...try this on for size. Take the modern English alphabet and assign each letter a number value based on a multiple of 6... A=6...B=12...C=18...etc. Then total up the numerical values of each letter in the word "computer."
You will find that the total comes to...........666.
