this is not meant to be a flame or suggestion about anyone in the game.

a few squaddies and i were talking tonight on yahoo, and came to the realization that their kids were going back to school in a week, and some to college.

with the school / college season quickly approaching, and the inevitable number of players on all sides not being able to log the hours they used to, what are your predictions to the MA numbers?

we probably overestimated at about 15% of the "regular" MA flyers will be in some sort of schooling.

how this will effect the numbers per country i have no clue, nor assume to have an intelligent guess. but it is a fact that the general population of the MA will change in the next month to a slight degree.

if you at HiTechCreations are thinking about implementing this or any type of "balancer" would it be out of line for em to ask you to hold off until after the school season starts, to see what effect it has?

I myself am returning to college in a week and depending, I usually don't notice a huge drop in hours logged. Then again, holding a position in the fraternity has affect other hours, so it really depends on the student itself.

I may be wrong but typically dont numbers drop in the summer months and tend to pick up once school starts and the weather gets colder?

This is true, total numbers of active players drop during the summer, BUT the total hours logged by those that are playing SKYROCKETS...

Not that I really care but if one side doesn't have 'out of whack' #s it would not have any effect anyway so why would it matter if overall #s drop or even increase?

Here is a wild thought.

Use ordanace that country's are able to load to help correct sides inbalance.

Status quo = 500lb bombs available.

If your the underdog, you get 1ks

If your the ravenging horde, your limited to 250s.

Let em fly what & when they like. Limit what they can carry.

Besides this would help encourge more people to fly 110s, p47s, mossies etc that had big ammo loads. Good attack planes, and easier to shoot down by the defenders.

Want to add more strat? Make it that killing all of a country's strat targets below 50% would result in a 2 hour "bonus" for what you can load.

Putting the brakes on the 2k of bombs carrying jabo horde would have huge impact on CV opperations, plus the land grab. I don't mind fighting against more numbers as long as they can't box me into a corner with only 3 fields so easy.
