formally request audit of a6m5b or the f6f

I know many things have changed, but either the f6f has become balsa central, or the a6m5b has been given a little soviet overhaul.

Could you please...

1. Tell me what if anything has changed for these two that would so drastically affect their interaction.

2.  Tell me what will be done.

The reason I ask, is the 50 cal seems to now behave like a 303 and the 7.2 in the zero now behaves like a 40 mm hizooka.  just curious.

ergRTC,

The A6M5b is armed with two 20mm Type 99 Model 2 cannon, one 13.2mm machine gun and one 7.7mm machine gun.

Kev,

Can you duplicate it?

I have shot off, and have had the tail of an F6F completely taken off by just a couple of rounds from the A6M's guns....from both snap shots and several hundred out.

Also, I have never had so much trouble shooting down a plane than I have had trying to shoot down an A6M5b in the Hellcat.

Would appreciate HTC taking a look at it.

Anyways

Yeah karnak, I gave slash crap for complaining earlier on tuesday, then I played for an hour and a half and my I stopped thinking slash was having issues.  This is a matchup I have been paying close attention to for 3 years, this is the first time the matchup has come up since CT went ah2.

I am not saying that these are the wrong models, I dont know, I wasnt there, but I seem to feel a large change in the interaction.

Just want to know whats up.  I know each plane has not recieved its 'update' yet, so that may be the perfectly excusable reason.

The A6M5b is not the one shot lighter the A6M2 was, and its weapons are highly lethal. The A6M5b has self-sealing fuel tanks and some armor, plus upgraded weapons. Capability wise the A6M5b is a slightly slower, but better turning long-range SpitV.

I've used A6M5 in AH2 a bit, and a lot in AH1.  Its guns don't seem any better to me now than they were.  Certainly the A6M5 has always had the capability to kill F6Fs, both in AH and AW, and I have killed many.  You may have just encountered a good shot.
