Who was the top ace of the western allies?

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

You referring to Gladiator and Hurricane Ace Maraduke T.St. John Pattle? who had 41 kills?

My source lists 50 kills and 2 shared killed, 7 and 1 shared probables, 4 and 2 shared damaged + 3 on the ground. Some 15 kills there of in a Gladiator, now that's something
