Use the latest drivers from ATI's WEB site (http://www.ati.com).

If you have 512MB of system, or more, then you are fine.  256MB is very tight (some stutters might happen due to swap) if you are running Windows XP.

I really do not know about the ram BGB.  I always steer clear of mixing rams in a system like that.

ATI has consolidated the drivers for all the Radeon products into one.  They just use what is needed for the specific video card after they are installed.

You do not need the WDM driver unless you plan to connect something to the S-VHS connector on the video card.

You only need a new control panel when you change the version of the driver you have installed.

Just remember, you cannot simply swap ATI cards without removing the drivers and re-installing them.

The settings in the registry will change based on what video card is detected during the installation.  So it is important to remove the driver, then reinstall to get the correct performance and settings for the card.

i think you can only use on option at a time ( Hitech was telling me that when i was setting up that 256mb card i have)

if you have a 256mb video card id suggest you load textures in video memory   it works ok in my old gamer )

note: the latest patch seams to have lowered the frame rates again (or its the stupid skin download thing )
