"His back-and-forth reflects a habit of indecision and sends a message of confusion," Cheney told GOP delegates in a prime-time address Wednesday night. "Senator Kerry says he sees two Americas. It makes the whole thing mutual. America sees two John Kerrys."

That's a classic in my opinion. Kerry is so through it isn't even funny.

My favorite quote so far was Zell Millers:

I watch the Jon Stewart abridged versions. It seems to me that both national conventions are little more than an exercise in large scale gratuitous mutual masturbation.

judging by your comments sandie... I would say that the republican convention was miles ahead of the democratic one so therefore you feel they should both be ignored as unimportant.

I hope you don't  think John Stewart is a journalist, he's a comedian and not a very good one at that.  I’ve seen a lot of people here on the BBS quoting this guy like he’s Walter Kronkite.

I rather doubt that. Stewart may not be a journalist (however lofty that title might be), but he does have a knack for cutting through the crap.
