Will there be a fix for the new TE where you CANNOT go forward with your joystick?

CH flightstickpro, and CH peddals ( analog) and where on the old editor you could fly forward in the terrain, Now the same button flies you in reverse. No other buttons will get me to fly forward in the terrain.

I believe this was addressed by a few others.

NUTTZ what I've been doing is using the first TE for the ground layout then converting it in TE2 its kind of a pain, but it does enable you to move around and get a better look at the landscape while you're creating it, lets hope they fix it soon in TE2 though.

Nuttz you can't have custom objects in the New TE that might be why it does that.

Nuttz you can fix that with the by putting a settings folder in the ah2editor folder. Copy the stick.cfg file from Aces High II into the settings folder 1st to get your calibration, then rename jsmap.cfg so you can put it back later. now start AH2 and go to
setup\controls\joystick\select joystick. Now change button 2 in AH control to button 2 in joystick input, button 3 to button 4, and button 5 to button 1. apply then quit AH2. Now cut & past jsmap.cfg from settings in AH2 to settings in ah2editor. Restore the original jsmap.cfg in AH2 and your all done. Button 2 will now move you forward and button 3 will move you backwards.

zmeg made it back first.:aok

In my case, button 5 is forward and 2 is backward.  I figured there must be a settings file somewhere.  Holding the trigger while moving the joystick lets me move n/s or e/w.  All the old movements are there, just not where I'd like them to be so I'll be using zmegs clue to track it down when I get some time.

An easier way is just to put your old terrains in TE2 empty the texsrc file of all custom tiles keep clipboard map if you are not going to change or make new, you will though have to start over w/ base placement.

Still only goes in reverse, and button 3 and 4 respond like they are rudder peddals. In AHII everything works fine, I did what you said and it changed in AHII. But "god" mode is screwed.

NUTTZ:
I have a Saitek X45 and the Number 5 Button, which is called the "D" button on the Throttle Stick, is the button the TE assigns as the Fly Forward Button.

Hope this is of Help to Ya :)
