Thats enough already. I made a grievous error in posting what I did. The words I chose to use muddied the message that I was trying to get across. Do I hate Jews, no, did I show lack of judgement and poor taste in how I posted what I did, hell yes. Boiled down the message is that I didn't like the idea of public money going into an individual privately funded educational institution, there was nothing more sinister than that. Had I just posted it that simply then this thread would be long forgotten. If it were a Catholic or Baptist school then my snide remarks would have been made accordingly, if it were a Muslim school then my head would have probably popped. Using that famously accurate hindsight I should have left it at the "private school" and kept the particular religion out altogether. The local tv coverage painted a picture of privilege, thats what set me off.
Unfortunately this is the internet and the only knowledge we have of each other is the words and views we post on this BBS, I can see why this thread took the turn it did and the blame rests solely on my shoulders. When my own squadmates start emailing me in private asking wtf then thats a clear sign that I did something very wrong and need a wakeup call.
