Dr.I Kirschstein/Udet
« on: April 11, 2010, 07:45:13 PM »
Working Some bugs but so far so good, still plugging away.
There are many interpretations of this machine and its Brush pattern.
I have tried my best to blend the best of both together. Still waiting for some quality photos that I can view under the loop.  ::) more $$books...

This machine was first flown by Ltn Hans Kirschstein His Dr.I 586/17 was left behind upon his return to jasta 6. It was later used by Udet. So I did one with the LO markings as well.

Real sharp, I'm blown away with the detail, the dirt on the underside is such a fantastic touch.

Also, Jesus, how long did it take you to line up all those stripes!!!!!!!

All hail Raven!
